After graduating from the Indiana University School of Music where he studied Classical Guitar, Music Theory, and Studio Engineering Dan Polizzi has become one of Colorado’s finest Fingerstyle Guitarists and Guitar Instructors with 24 years of playing experience and 16 years teaching experience.
Dan's live solo performances, when playing Cafés, Coffee Shops, and House Concerts are an eclectic (yet well received) mix of Celtic Instrumentals, Classical Guitar, and Singer/Songwriter music.
An all Instrumental Guitar set can be provided for Weddings, Formal events, Brunches, or Corporate cocktail parties. Dan has had extensive experience playing in the Denver area, Boulder County, Summit County, and throughout Colorado.
"Over the years I have taught at Wildwood Music in Longmont & Louisville, Keith Music in Longmont, and the CMIC in Longmont, CO. Most recently, however, I have spent the last 9 years teaching out of the Music Education Center ( MEC ), located in Northglenn. Just this Fall, myself and James Garcia, have opened up our own teaching studio, called the North Metro Music Academy , located at 88th & Huron which will provide music instruction for the areas of Thornton, Northglenn, Westminster, North Denver, and possibly Broomfield."
